Sven-Erik Jacobsen (SEJ)
Sven-Erik Jacobsen is the director and owner of the company Quinoa Quality for the promotion of quinoa and other high value, alternative crops for enhancing biodiversity, soil fertility and food security in developing countries, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia.
He has a MSc in Agronomy in 1982 from the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, and a Phd in Crop Science, 1993, at University of Copenhagen. SEJ has 25 years of employment at the University of Copenhagen, where he was leading the Research group on Tropical Crops, covering subjects as stress physiology, agroecology and agrobiodiversity, focusing on developing countries of Africa and elsewhere. The research group managed projects, related to under-utilized crops, focusing on food security under-stressed, water scarce conditions, affected by climate changes. Teaching took place in tropical crop production on BSc and MSc level, in addition to several PhD students.

Peter Slaatorn (PS)
Peter Slaatorn (PS) is head of Administration in Quinoa Quality ApS responsible for Economy and Administration.
Peter has 50 years of experience in business with a career as CEO and CFO in a number of small and medium-sized companies within production, trade, sales& service as well as public service.
Since 2008 CEO and owner of Kirkeby Consulting in Copenhagen.

Jes Colding (JC)
Jes Colding was an international businessman and manager for 25 years. He has a Master’s degree in International Business and Strategy from EAP/ESCP.
During the past 12 years he has, on a consulting basis, been advising private companies, NGO’s and Development agencies in areas such as sustainable development finance, entrepreneurship and strategy in Africa, Europe and Asia.
